Q:Does one have to sit on the floor in the tipi? No, we have 4 custom Burch wood tables that accommodate 2 seats each with a total of 8. And we have fur covered director chairs for seating with fur floors to keep your tootsies warm. See photo gallery.
Q: What sort of clothing should I wear? Rustic dining at it's best, dress in layers during the winter months.
Q:What sort of foods do you offer? The menu is open for the best that is available at the time as the seasons may vary. We can accommodate private parties of 8 and customize the menu. Check out "what's cookin".
Q:How do you heat the inside of the tipi? We have ericted a 22 foot Nomadic Tipi with a 9 foot liner that has been winterized for your comfort. We have installed an outside propane fire pit that puts out 89,000 BTU's to keep you warm on a cold night. There is a 7 foot foyer attached to the lodge for disgarded coats & shoes/boots. We have disposable booties if you wish or bring your own house slippers & socks wear well next to the fire. You'll be warm and comfortable. Please make note: house slippers with rubber sole's too close to the fire may melt.
Q: Is it difficult to get there? We are located just one mile from town with easy access late Spring, Summer and Fall. However, during the snowy season, 4WD is required.
Q: Can I bring my well behaved dog? Unfortunately, the lodge is not set up for animals or children. We would accept guests that are accompanied with dogs for the visually impaird.
