 Your presentation made us feel welcome and comfortable in surroundings that we hadn't experienced.  The pace of the evening was so relaxing. I wasn't sure if we were going to leave or if you were going to suggest that we leave !  The food was earthy, clean and just the right amount.  It was very interesting to hear the story about the lodge from idea to final product.  The wine was a hit and the beer was a great match.  The experience was amazing.  Thanks again

Your hostess, Suekii Cornwall, combines her passion for good wholesome food and her fascination with the "Mountain Men" era to create an adventure in dining.  The authentic tipi, lovely surroundings, cozy group dining in the round lodge and the ever attentive hostess combined to make for a completely enjoyable dining experience. Wheather you create your own group or come on your own, your palate will be satisfied and your heart warmed by the experience.  Put it on your list of "Not to miss" while enjoying the Methow Valley.

Wonderful Experience!  We went for a tipi dinner on our anniversary and loved it ! I had pretty high expectations and was even more impressed.The atmosphere was cozy and the food was incredible, everything done perfectly, and in generous portions. Fantastic experience, delicious dinner, we loved all the local ingredients. The warmth of the fire and the furs underfoot were a wonderful relaxing expereince. Our group of six had a great time. Made me want to have my own tipi.

We were celebrating our 20th Anniversary in the very town we had our honeymoon. To our delight, we discovered a new and unique place to have a local dinner at Winthrop Tipi Dinners.  It was awesome and plentiful, Suekii was very fun to visit with for hours as we dined and learned about the area. Our thanks for a delicious and fascinating evening! All of the foods were carefully prepared with forethought to our dietary preferences and local/seasonal selections; plus plenty to enjoy and eat! We were in the intimate company of family, friends and new acquaintances with lively conversation and we came away with new perspectives, book titles, movies and strenghted bonds. It was a beautiful September evening when we arrived and you were very welcoming in your buckskin dress. We were at first sorry to hear that we were your only guests that evening, but it actually was to our benefit to have you all to ourselves ! It was nice to hear your story of how your idea of Tipi Dinners got started (we're always up for a good story). For the next 3 hours we watched you prepare our meals, each course was very delicious. The buffalo was marinated and grilled to our liking, not to mention the new foods we tried, like Emmer Farro salad. By the way, we stopped at the Blue Bird Grains Farm and purchased some of those grains. Desert was yummy. Our evening was so enjoyable that we still talk about it and we're spreading the word about your dinner expereince.
